June Horoscopes

Aries

This month your public image is undergoing a transformation and you will need to reinvent yourself as now both Jupiter and Uranus are moving into your sign, heralding the beginning of a new cycle in your life. Unexpected and fortunate opportunities are on the horizon during June and over the coming months or something that is considered a lucky break. However, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are all caught up in the mix too, so dont expect an easy ride as this can be a very challenging period too.

With Pluto in your professional sector, the new phase you are embarking on is most likely linked to your career. The lunar eclipse in Capricorn during the latter part of June brings a career matter to a head. You may be pushed out of your comfort zone as changes lie on the horizon. However, Saturn the ruler of your career zone goes direct as June begins. So if you have been trying to push forward in the professional arena, things should gather momentum this month.

The lunar eclipse on the 26th is a challenging one and not only is it likely to affect your career zone, but matters connected to your home, family or domestic environment too. Lunar eclipses bring things to a close and a sense of finality to a situation. Perhaps you are working so hard that you are neglecting your family, your job takes you away from home or forces a move of some kind. Parents or your property could also present you with some challenges this month too.

Taurus

June 26 sees a lunar eclipse in Capricorn. Lunar eclipses are little more introspective than solar eclipses. That is, they are more about feeling something than doing something or having something happen. Thats usually especially true when its in the 9th house, like this one is for your sign. Most likely, nothing too noticeable will happen outwardly, but you may want to observe your own emotional state or even your mental state around that time because you may feel a shift. The 9th house governs intellectual processes and beliefs, and sometimes we let an outdated belief go during a lunar eclipse in this sector.

Jupiter also moves into Aries during June. There it joins Uranus, which entered Aries in late May. These two placements also affect your mental processes and your psychological processes. The most beneficial thing they can do is help you understand yourself so that you can get rid of ideas or habits that cause you pain. Over the next few years, a clash is scheduled between any rigid beliefs you have from the past (represented by Pluto in Capricorn) and any new ideas you are attempting to incorporate into your life (represented by Uranus in Aries). There will be quite a struggle for personal growth in your chart. This is a struggle you want to win. The more work you can do on yourself voluntarily, the better. That will make things much easier when the more difficult aspects come into play. Set aside some time for reflection this month if at all possible.

Gemini

Mars in Virgo can also be kind of deep because its at the bottom of your chart, hanging out with the relatively deep Saturn in the same sign. Strangely, they also like to focus on the small stuff. These two planets would be digging around for problems and/or opportunities in your home and family life. As in small stuff that bugs you deeply. Or small stuff that could be corrected for big gain.

 

Jupiter and Uranus in Ariesnot so deep. They are making more of a lateral move out of your outwardly focused career house into your also outwardly focused sector of social life and community participation. The real change that they are making is that they dont care quite so much what other people think about your career or reputation any more. They care more about what you want. If you want to put lampshades on your head and dance around on tables till dawn, they will pretty much support you. Their motto is that while you may only be young once, you can be immature forever. Your job will be to figure out what kind of immaturity suits you best at this stage of your life.

As for the rest of the year, the energy of this month will be in play for much of the next 12 months, with a big exception. Energy will shift away from home and family and toward love, creativity and children.

Cancer

There are times when a big smile or bursting into tears is the absolute best way to convey your message. There are other times, like on the 1st and 2nd, when its a way better idea to put whatever it is you want to say in cold, clear, argumentative terms. Sure, you might spur a debate with your unconventional approach. But its a debate you can win. An emotional standoff, however, isnt necessarily going to end up going your way. By the 4th and 5th, youve soaked up more good energy than a solar roof in June, and youre ready to share the wealth. Youll light up more than one bulb with all your bright ideas! Youre feeling just an itsy bitsy bit irritable on the 10th and 11th. Why not just excuse yourself early and get in some much-needed you time? You have a couple of outrageous ideas on the 14th, 15th and 16th. So why havent you acted on them, already? By the oh-so-intense-in-every-way 21st and 22nd, you could be in for some super-serious changes. Are you rethinking your job? Your relationships? Your choice of apartment? Your core values? Your favorite foods? All of the above? Enjoy it! Hard work pays off on the 28th and 29th. So work hard.

While April was mostly about planning, June is the beginning of putting some of those plans into action which really energizes and excites you. You've diligently laid down the foundations and even though you know there is more hard work ahead, it's still a welcome change of pace to actually start doing, rather than thinking. If you're starting a new project or a new relationship, it can seem to be moving at an incredibly slow pace, but will pick up momentum by mid-month.

Leo

Leos can sometimes be stuck in their ways. Doing the same old things and having the same old attitudes. You might also take the view that the moment you move from the known to the unknown, things get very dangerous. However nothing can go on forever, and at the beginning of June the planet Jupiter moves into Aries, where it makes a conjunction to Uranus. This very much sets the tone for the rest of the summer. You can start seeing the world in a new way, and if you're travelling you could have some amazing and eye-opening experiences.

You should also consider the possibility that some of your opinions are holding your back. You might believe in something very strongly, so strongly that you become blinded to reality. Indeed in many cases a new belief-system can set you free.

On June 14 Venus, the planet of love, moves into Leo, your star sign. It then moves to a favorable aspect with Jupiter. As a result your romantic prospects will shift into overdrive, and there's a good chance that you'll meet someone special. Though you have to understand that relationships which start in late June will have a number of dimensions, and it won't just be love and romance. You should be looking for multi-leveled chemistry that has a strong, spiritual foundation.

Virgo

Mars moves into your sign on the 6th of this month, making June a perfect time to initiate or upgrade regimes in physical fitness. Courage, vitality, and martial forces are given a boost by this once-every two years transit, which lasts through until early August. The waxing Moon in your sign from the 16th to the 19th is a perfect time to tie up loose ends and details and streamline for greater efficiency.

Your relationship takes a surprising, unexpected turn now, but this probably will not be upsetting. Rather, it is likely to be exhilarating. The two of you may be attracted to something you would always considered too wild, something outside of your previous experience, or something you used to do in your more daring moments.

Adventures, important and beneficial encounters, and serendipitous events are very likely. It is also a good time to expand and invest in your relationship.

Nerves are edgy and tempers flare. You may feel inordinately irritated by the opinions and ideas expressed by your partner. What seems atrocious now, however, may well seem not worth fighting about later.

Libra

Mars leaves your 11th house of friends, extended family, groups, socializing, and volunteer efforts on June 7. Youve just completely an unusually long 8 month transit to this social sector in your chart. No doubt youve made some new friends, accomplished many goals, and had more opportunities to spend time with the people who love you. Mars will now enter your 12th house of isolation, spirituality, and behind the scenes matters until July 29. Mars in the 12th can be a difficult transit, but it doesnt have to be. It can cause daily stressors to seem more weighted. Sometimes this transit causes one to feel that other people dont understand their problems. This is an excellent transit for work that requires alone time and steady concentration. This is also a wonderful transit to reach out and help someone less fortunate that you are. When you give a little of yourself, the Universe also gives back.

Jupiter enters your 7th house on June 6, 2010. This is the first time youve had Jupiter in your one-on-one relationships since Feb. 1999! Those born early in Libra (before Sept. 28) will notice Jupiters expansive energy most in June and next month in July. Jupiter will retrograde in July and re-enter your 7th house in January 2011. If you were born after Sept. 28, you will experience this benevolent and optimistic planet next year.

Jupiter in your 7th house will expand on opportunities for marriage, making commitments, or important contracts that withstand the test of time. You could meet someone who becomes a mentor to you, or this person may help you achieve your goals. This transit could bring travel opportunities, further education, or a handsome settlement in a legal case for yourself or your partner.

Scorpio

 

On June 7 Mars, your ruling planet, moves into Virgo, where it stays until late July. All of a sudden your social life is going to become very important, and you'll start spending a lot of time with your friends. However there's a danger that arguments break out - however well you know someone, there's still plenty of scope for disagreement.

From a career point of view, the last half of the month looks good. After all, on June 14 the planet Venus enters the career sector of your solar chart. In your working environment you'll become very popular, and your presentation will be excellent. Though that's no excuse for complacency - by focusing on the details you'll be giving yourself the edge. Looking at your love life, then at the beginning of June single Scorpios have unusual tastes, and they could link up with some very unusual people. However the end result could be unfortunate, and it might therefore be best to put your love life on hold.

However as the month progresses your romantic situation steadily improves, and in high-profile locations you can meet someone special. Perhaps we're talking about someone you work with? A business meeting could take on a new dimension! Finally, in early June Jupiter enters Aries, where it stays for the whole summer. Health matters could become very important, and it'll be a great time for Scorpios to improve their diet and general lifestyle.

Sagittarius

The new moon June 12 will add further emphasis to this part of your chart governing one-on-one relationships. New moon energy is a gift to you from the Universe. This energy can give you a running start or that added push you may need to start making progress, and more so now than any other time! You may move forward with a business contract or enlist the help of an expert, such as an attorney, real estate agent, headhunter, or a doctor. Some Sagittarius could be getting engaged or married, making arrangements for celebrations, or a romantic relationship may be heading toward commitment.

 

Venus transits your 8th house of partners income, debts, taxes, insurance, inheritance, bonuses, loans, mortgages, child support, and alimony until June 13. The sun enters this sector of your chart on June 21. The next four weeks will spotlight these resources you receive or pay out to another. The sun in the 8th may also turn your attention to past wounds, deep emotional issues, sex, intimacy issues, surgeries, and life and death mattershowever, the Sun in the 8th house will not bring death, Sagittarius.

Mars leaves your 9th house of education, travel, foreign relations, publishing, media, and legal issues on June 7, after an unusually long 8th month transit. Mars will now enter your 10th house of career, reputation, parental roles, authority figures, and your role in society. June 7 July 29 will find you working harder, perhaps putting in more hours at the office.

Capricorn

Time is running out with those two heavy weights moving into Aries for a time. This can put a wet blanket on your ambitions until you get used to the energy. They return to Pisces in August and September when you could feel a bit of relief. Venus in Cancer until June 14th can make your life much better so the energy will not blanket you.

Trends conspire to offer a tricky few weeks. Unfortunately, acting preoccupied with your head down wont cut it, when you are one of the lead actors in the celestial spotlight. Pluto drags its heels through your constellation, furthering the transformative process that has prompted you with many concerns so far, and which continues to put you up against others until finally, you acknowledge the fundamental essence of those transformations that prove essential. The lunar eclipse in your sign on June 26 makes close relationships pivotal, while somewhere between these and your wider aims, something has to give.

Aquarius

 

Though far from completely off the agenda, an end to your money worries is in sight. Maybe thats putting it too strongly, but you can anticipate a substantial reduction in those economic pressures that have featured for so long. The outcome is not entirely win-win while the fallout will carry on for years. But a resurgence of hope and optimism is an immediate consequence of finding yourself free to think about something else. More positive and encouraging feedback leads swiftly to broadened horizons, while the best results come from grappling with these affairs rather than just turning your back on them. On June 6 Jupiter moves into Aries, where it stays for the next few months. You'll find it increasingly easy to express yourself in terms of both writing and speech, and through the power of your words you can boost your status. Also, you might spend a lot of time travelling - not to the other side of the world, but in your immediate locality. There are people to see in terms of both business and pleasure, and in most cases, it'll be you that has to do the visiting.

Looking at your love life, the month has a shaky start, but from June 10 onwards the situation starts to improve. You'll develop a spontaneous sense of fun, and if you meet someone new, then you can impress them very quickly. The right joke, told at the right time, can make a big difference. Pisces

From early June and over the coming months, the move of both Jupiter and Uranus into your income sector means that a change in your financial circumstances or earnings is extremely likely. You are about to begin a major new cycle relating to your income and the way you earn a living and may have to adapt to new circumstances. Perhaps some of you may decide to work freelance or on a self employed basis to earn additional income. Jupiter normally brings an increase, so there is also a possibility of a pay rise for some.

 

Mid month you begin a new cycle relating to your home and domestic situation as the new moon falls in your home zone, signaling changes and a new start. It is a good time to make a new purchase for the home, start a DIY project that will transform your home or begin house hunting if you are thinking of moving or buying a property. There are also financial implications associated with whatever changes you make to your home situation. You may decide to re- mortgage, spend some money on your home through decoration or new furniture in order to make it look more ideal.

Because the new moon links up with Neptune, there is a possibility that a family member or someone you live with may need your care or help.

Hello Alex! I hope everything is going well for you in Boston. I truly miss the east coast!! My question is about my career. I am going into my second year of Radiology classes, and hope to be graduating in July of 2011. Right now, like any other jobs, the market for new X-ray techs looks dismal. I am very worried about finding a job once I do graduate. I am SO ready to go back to work, I've been in school too long now! (Don't forget, I'm 36! 11/27/73) I was wondering how you saw the job market once I graduate and if you could tell me what my chances of landing an RT job in northern Colorado are (and maybe where??) ? Alex- Yes, I do feel you will find a job in your field. I am just uncertain if it is in the area you are asking about or somewhere else. I dont sense that you really want to leave CO. so my best guess is that it will be there.

 

Alex, I enjoy the newsletter every month as always. My question for you is in regards to the Gulf oil spill. I don't know how far your gifts can travel and if you can see into worldly events but this whole disaster has concerned me. With the "top kill" technique not working, and now a projected date of August to fully turn off the leak, it would seem like our animals, plants and coastal life in the Gulf are in grave jeopardy. I was curious as to what your thoughts are on the environmental repercussions we are about to face and what type of change this will mean to our dependency on oil? Is this the straw that broke the camels back to help fully spin our gears even more to use more natural energy? Thank you, Jonathan.

Alex- Unfortunately I do not think this is the straw that broke, far from it I am afraid. It is my general psychic feeling and that of many other psychics I have talked to, that is they wanted this fixed it would be. Somewhere someone or a group of someones really do not want this fixed for whatever reasons. I also fear that it is only the first in a long succession of events that will coincide with dramatic earth changes as well as strong geo-political changes that may in just a few years, change life as we know it in some really big ways. Hey Alex, it's Hilary from Chelmsford..it's been a long time, how are you doing? Life is good, I've been trying to listen to my own guide to answer my questions, but I've gotten a little stuck. I have grown so much and I am learning everyday, I am trying to keep an open mind and an open heart, but I'm a little confused right now. I feel as though I am about to take a big step into the unknown..I have worked so hard to conquer my depression and become the person I know I can be, and I am getting there. There is a world of opportunity before me and I am trying to embrace the change. There is something that holds me back though, maybe the fear of truly letting go? I feel like I am where I need to be, but every so often I feel that pull backwards. I just got out of a relationship and I have all these feelings attached to what I thought could be, and I am really having trouble moving on. We are genetically, spiritually and emotionally predisposed to holding on to love until the pain of holding on becomes so severe, that you will have no choice but to let go. It takes what it takes and sometimes it takes longer than it shouldbut it will happen even if it means that you leave claw marks behind.

The closer we get to the natural completion of a relationship, the more we focus on the dark side and the hurt from the relationship. This hurt gets so intense that we completely forget to look for the light side - the gain from the relationship.

Often a relationship ends on the surface, but that does not mean we get closer to the natural completion. Think about divorces where the hurt and pain drags on throughout the divorce negotiations - and often for years afterwards, long after the divorce was finalized.

The only way to end a relationship is to acknowledge how that relationship changed you for the better, and then to thank your partner for being a valuable part of the experience. Then let go of the relationship and hold on to the learning experience.

 

Yes, it is possible to thank any partner for their contribution to your growth. You had that experience not so that it would destroy you, but so that it would help you heal a division inside of yourself. The secret of gaining from ending a relationship is to acknowledge the nature of that division, and to move from division to wholeness, gratitude and Love.

As long as you hold on to the division and look for someone to blame for your hurt, you will remain divided, hurt and in a dark place. Understanding yourself comes in small portions. Accept the small portions and grow from them.

The theme of this lesson aside from letting go is about accepting that you may never be loved the way you wish to be loved only in the manner in which the person know how to love you- depending on how they learned to love and from whom. What is he going to do for the rest of the year? :P Be happy alone. Then find someone else to be happy with.

I can't really tell you what will work for you. Just look into becoming your most unique self. Look to see where you can make yourself happy. Singles who are tired of being lonely usually don't want to hear this. If you are single, you may think all your fears will melt and your problems will be handled when The Perfect One enters your life. When you find The One, and continue not to be happy, you may think it is the other person's fault. True--the other person may be a jerk or a jerkette--but your unhappiness started with you. Pull your life together, do things that make you proud, and then find someone like you.

I would also ask yourself if you are ready to remove your blocks to finding love.
