Personal Message to all of our Customers from the Tremont Tearooms Guardian

a small business is a complex juggling act at the best of times. Keeping on top
of payroll, taxes, regulatory changes, and the needs of your customers takes a
concerted effort to ensure that your business remains profitable. In the
current economic environment, it can seem more like juggling knives. In the
past year, we have seen an unprecedented collapse in the housing market due to
the sub-prime mortgage crisis. Banks and other lending institutions have
tightened up lending criteria, making it difficult for both consumers and
businesses to borrow needed funds. This situation has brought the United States
to the brink of recession which impacts consumer spending and business
revenues. We
have all seen the effect that the economic downturn has had on some industries
such as manufacturing, construction, real estate and the airlines. Other
industries such as retail, agriculture and even computer services are also posting
slow or no growth rates. At the same time that companies are struggling to stay
out of the red, prices are rising on consumable items for consumers. It
all comes down to two words "customer service". Many businesses could
succeed if they would hold these words as their mantra. Go out of your way for
new customers, while continuing to give existing, customers reasons to keep
coming back. So
as the Tearooms Guardian, I have had to make some hard thought decisions to
decide what is best for the good of the Tearoom staff and their livelihood as
well as the wishes and concerns of our customers. I went through all of our
comments cards for the last year and listened to each and every comment and considered
best possible changes in the interest of the Tearooms economic future. We
are moving !! As of January 1, 2009 The Original
Tremont Tearoom and Bostons Best Psychics will be doing business at our new
location Suite 609 on the Sixth floor of the Paddock Building, 101 Tremont
Street. Once again thats The Tremont Tearoom- 101 Tremont Street Suite 609 (6th
floor)Boston, MA 02108. As
this is a typical downsizing move we have dramatically reduced our space but
have also dramatically reduced our operating costs/overhead. As a result we
will make some changes as to how we do business: 1. In
the past we only took appointments for 30 and 60 minute readings, as of January
1 we will be taking appointments for 15 minute readings as well. We will still
take walk-ins, however due to our smaller space we suggest whenever possible
that customers make appointments.(our telephone readings will continue to be
for 30 minutes only, however special concessions and considerations otherwise
would be considered by request of regular telephone customers) 2. All
appointments will be held by a credit card, if there is a cancellation (with
the exception of weather)under 24 hours notice that credit card will be
charged, however you will receive a gift certificate for the exact amount to
use at any time.( We follow all industry regulations as to credit card security
and proper storage and disposal of personal information and were recently
certified as such by a contracted third party) 3. Appointments
made for the same day as you make them will not be subject to such terms. 4. As
of January 1 2009 the only price change we will make, will be for our 30 minute
phone readings. Due to increased credit card processing fees and mandatory industry
security monitoring and compliance fees, our 30 minute phone readings will be
increased from $55 to $60. 5. Our
new building is clean and kept in pristine condition with 4 modern and well
maintained elevators this has been a bone of contention in our current space,
we have heard your concerns and we feel you will very much like this new
building, the owners have a great reputation and have been very friendly and
warm to having us as tenants and you will be very happy with our new location
and space. Its a lot smaller than what we are all used to but it will work and
allow the Tearoom to prosper and continue to be the best psychics in Boston. We
are also confident we will continue to have the best and most loyal customer base

For the past decade I (dob 11/13/67) have gone through
a lot of mental anguish with two of my siblings, (male dob 01/10/62, female dob
11/22/57). My dad passed away with cancer before he was able to help
me and left everything for me in the hands of these two siblings, one who
inherited my dad's business and doesn't have nothing to do with me and the
other who used me to help her daughter and runs a business off property that
was left for me. She never even bothered to ask my permission, needless to say
offer to pay rent. Am I wrong in wanting to never have anything to do with
these two individuals for the rest of my life. I
remember when my dad stopped talking to his brother I had told him to forgive
and forget but these two siblings are just
unbelievable and I endure mental frustration due to their audascity.
My sister is the only biological sister from my dad but I don't know if she
just doesn't care for me as a sister or if it's hatred or jealousy, she lives
out of country and visits all her husband's family when she comes to the US but
couldn't be bothered about me.Sometimes I wonder if
it's me and I am scared that I will end up being a lonely person one
day even though I have a half sister who I think is like my guiding angel
in life but she's 13yrs older and is presently undergoing heart surgery on Thanksgiving day. I fear that she is all I have

The two sisters have definitely scapegoated you
especially in terms of finances they cannot be trusted, but you should really
take the high road here and be the bigger person. At the end of the day this is
family and you must decide is it really easier to live without them than with
them? Your question seems to indicate otherwise, they may never be what you
want them to be can you be evolved enough to accept them as they are? Hi Alex. Alex- I dont know if its normal but its
exactly what I have experienced I was asked a similar question last month heres
an excerpt from my answer- Some psychics deal with the negative better than
others. Personally I have found that the longer I stay in this profession the
harder it becomes to both shield myself and be more
forgiving of other peoples human imperfections. This results in my becoming
more isolated both physically and emotionally from the world around me I am
ever aware of this however and take steps on a daily basis to combat this side
effect. Some days I win and some days I dont.
I wish I could share more encouraging words of wisdom on this topic,
however it has always been and will most likely be my personal Achilles
heel. I constantly remind myself that despite this side effect the good I do in
reaching and helping others on their personal path is paramount to any

rather be true to myself than be true to what other would expect of me. Hello Alex I don't quite know where to begin! A
couple of years ago I had a very intense few months where I was experiencing alot of ghost activity around me and it really was an
explosion of psychic ability thrown upon me that I knew was there as I have
been seeing and experiencing ghosts since I was a child but this really took it
to another level. The whole experience really put me over the edge. The
severity of the situation really opened me up to wow is this something that I
should be exploring further? Do I have gifts that I can develop? But at the
same time it really was a terrifying time in my life because I saw thirty or
forty ghosts at a time they started pouring into my world whether I was at
work, at home during the day or trying to sleep at nite,
which was impossible with ghosts peering, poking and waving at me. I am very
scared to open myself up to it being that out of control again if I do decide
to educate myself further but at the same time I am unhappy and unsatisfied
with what I have been doing for a job for years. I feel like I have not found
something that I would enjoy to do. I am getting closer to forty and am not
college educated and I feel my career options dimishing.
Is this something that I should explore further or should I be looking into another field career wise? I have worked in
television, the music industry and was a hair stylist for a few years and now I
work in retail. My confidence is shot but I need something more fulfilling in
my life. Do you have any insight into which direction I should be going? O r
what career or interests I should be educating myself
in? If it is more spiritual where does one learn to develop one's gifts? Thank
