How to Get the Most Out of Your Psychic Reading
- Firstly, rest assured the psychics at the Tremont Tearoom are morally exemplar in the field. (Check out our "Psychic Code of Ethics"). Granted, there are good doctors and bad doctors, good cops and bad cops, and good psychics and bad psychics. Our Tearoom psychics, however, won't take advantage of you; they go through a thorough screening process and are held to the utmost standards.
- You may want to formulate and write down some questions for your psychic before your reading; oftentimes, clients will come in with questions but forget to ask while here. Especially for shorter readings, it's a good idea to have a focus in mind as to direct the flow of the reading.
- When you enter the Tearoom, do so with an open heart so the highest and clearest influences may help guide the process. Unless you come to the Tearoom with an appointment or a referral, you will be asked to choose the psychic with whom you'll read. Just listen to the names of the available psychics and choose the one that sounds best to you. Take a deep breath and just pick. We like to think the psychic who winds up reading you was right for you at the time.
- When sitting for your reading, let the psychic feel your energy. Keep your feet on the ground, if possible, and keep your arms uncrossed; it will help the energy between you and your psychic to flow. Taking deep breaths may help quell any nervous tension you may have.
- If you're having your tarot cards read, you'll likely be asked to shuffle the cards. Tarot cards are usually larger than regular playing cards and a bit more difficult to handle; just take your time and concentrate on putting your energy into the deck.
- Your actual reading can take many directions. Every psychic at the Tremont Tearoom has a different style, so follow your psychic's lead.
- Strike a balance between relaying too much information and not enough. Most psychics don't want too much information fed to them (it may interrupt an otherwise clear channel); likewise, when an issue is complicated or begs for clarity, imparting information to your psychic could help the reading.
- We want your reading to be a positive healing experience. If during the reading you start to think you and your psychic are not connecting, please speak up and we'll have you read with someone else.
- Keep in mind the future is often fluid, not set in stone. We can tell you about the path you're on and the probable outcome if you continue in the same direction; likewise, we can offer you advice on how to change course, and thus, your outcome. Ultimately, the future is in your hands, based on the choices you make.
- Finally, at the end of the reading, you'll be asked to fill out a comment card. Please be honest, as we want to continuously improve to best serve our clients. Refer us to your friends and come back in a few months. We'd love to hear how everything is turning out.
